Days of Noah

Luk 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

In the time of Noah the hearts of men were evil continually. There were no good deeds done or even thought. All men were evil continually. (Gen 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. ) Today the hearts of men are evil and wicked. To hear what people say you will be able to see this. They say that all paths lead to God whether they be good paths or evil paths. They say their truth is only right for them even though my truth is only right for me. This is a contradictory statement in the fact that if my truth says they're truth is wrong then someone "has to be wrong." But let's look at my truth for a minute. My "truth" means nothing really. My "opinion" means nothing. My opinion is my opinion and not necessarily the "opinion" of God. This is where so many people fail. They use their own "opinion" and not God's "opinion." What it all boils down to is this, men cannot stand to be reproved. To call "sin" sin is a sin by their "opinion."

Gen 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

It says here that God was "grieved" in His heart that He had made man. Can we see now how God may be "grieved" in His heart? Men are continuing in their wickedness. Wars and rumors of wars all over the world. Gay rights activists claiming they are being discriminated against. New age believers trying to do away with the truth of God. Atheists trying to do away with the Bible. I have read somewhere that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the United States. The list goes on and on.

Luk 17:27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

People still eat and drink today. They marry and are given in marriage still today. They will continue to do so until the day of the Lord comes. Just as the day that Noah entered into the ark. The people will continue even after the church of God has gone. I wonder what kind of excuses they will make when the church is taken out of this world? Notice also that of all that were alive at that time only 8 were saved.

Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Mat 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

This day is now. Many come in the name of Jesus and deceive. I have read where people say they're Christians, but their fruit is "anti-christ." They say Jesus came to spread love and that's all that matters. To love one another is what Jesus commanded us to do. We cannot love anyone like Jesus loved us without the help of the Son of the most high God. It takes the Holy Ghost to instill the power to love like this. It takes the Holy Ghost to help us to walk and talk the "opinion" of God. The word of man means nothing. So many say they know Jesus and they know God's Word better than Christians. This is a lie. They cannot know God's Word without the help of the Holy Ghost.

2Pe 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

2Pe 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

2Pe 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

This shows us that scripture cannot be interpreted by mans knowledge. It takes the Holy Ghost to reveal the scriptures. I know the Holy Ghost works with those that are still lost. Without the work of the Holy Ghost no one could be saved. The knowledge of man has failed many many times but man still uses their own knowledge. They have no desire to retain knowledge of God for they are evil and wicked. Those that are saved I urge you to keep looking for His coming. I feel that the redeemer is soon coming to call His people out. Those that are still lost, I urge you to accept Jesus right now as your Saviour before it is too late. Jesus stands at the door and knocks waiting fro you to open it and allow Him to come in. We end this study with a verse from Revelation (Rev 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. )

Prayer

Father God, I feel in my spirit that the end is very near. I know that no man knows the hour nor the day except you Father but the signs you have given us are here. Help us Father to keep looking up and let us not fall away. Let those that read this study be convicted of the Holy Ghost that they might know you Father. It is my sincere prayer that souls be saved. Help us to do all that we can do to fill your kingdom Father. In Jesus mighty and precious name, Amen.

Greetngs Sir Dent AWESOME Hub. You are an apostle for our Lord. I really enjoyed this hub. I was reading Luke today.

I am in agreement with you. I think the time is near. Jesus is going to return. I pray for the lost souls and we do have our work cut out for us to enlarge the Kingdom. I believe many will come to Christ soon, as pain and suffering breaks many down and they do go to the Lord. There is much of that going on today.

I have been watching some of the Haiti 'news' and I am shocked but I have only heard the mention of 'God' one time. I heard 'lucky' person, so on but no mention of our Savior. I pray for this counry that many will oome to know Christ. My prayer list is getting very long. Thank you for writing a wonderful hub. I am linking it out for you.

The good news is Paradise awaits those that Love him. I look forward to Jesus return. In his name. Hugs + + +
