Prepare a Place

Joh 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

Joh 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Jesus is talking to His disciples at this time. He is telling them of the work that He is going to do. He is comforting them telling them to not let their hearts be troubled. He says there are many mansions in His Father's house. He didn't say a few mansions. Many mansions means that many people will be there. I have heard said by many people that only a handful will make it to heaven. As for Jesus preparing a place for us, this is what God did in the beginning.

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

God created the earth from the very start. God had formulated a plan and was carrying this plan out. God created the heavens and the earth first. Everything else was created afterward. The last of creation God created man in His own image and His likeness.(Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. ) This is the last of God's creation in the beginning. God gave man dominion over the whole earth. Power was given to man to care for the earth and everything that is in the earth. God had actually prepared a place for man. Everything was good that God had made. Man had to do nothing except tend the garden of Eden. ( Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Gen 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. ) This was done on the sixth day. On the seventh day God rested. Creation was finished. Man had a dwelling place. They had need of nothing more.

Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Jesus went to prepare place. It will be a dwelling place for those that make it into heaven. We will have need of nothing more that what we are given. Everything will be in order and nothing will harm us anymore. How do we get to this place that Jesus is preparing for us?

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Joh 14:7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Jesus is the way. Beside Jesus there is no other way. If we know Jesus we then also know the Father. For they are one and not many. Jesus died a death that we deserve to die. He died because of His love for you and me. Any other way is false and will lead you straight into hell. God does not want this to happen to anyone. I know many say God will not put anyone into hell. They say God is love and that's all that He is. God is much more than just love. God is an angry God. He is angry at man for being so rebellious. He is angry because we turn our hearts away from Him. But even in His anger, His hands are stretched out still. There is a day coming, when God's children are called out of this world. we will then go to that place that Jesus Himself has prepared for us. Then we will always be with the Lord.

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

God does not want anyone to remain lost. It is not His will that any should perish. To perish means to be made worthless. When food perishes it is then worthless. It is of no use to anyone. No one needs to stay in this state of being. There is still time to repent and be saved. ( 2Co 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) ) The time to be saved is NOW. After the church is called out of this world it will be too late. For someone to be saved after this time they will have to deny the Antichrist and have their heads cut off for the Lord Jesus. This is something that will be very unlikely to happen. Can a person die for someone that they cant live for?

2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

This world shall be burned up and inhabitable. The heavens will pass away also.

2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Those that are His shall see a new heaven and a new earth where no evilness dwells. (Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. ) Satan shall reign no more after this takes place. Those that are not found written in the Lamb's book of life shall also be cast into the lake of fire. Who would want this to happen to themselves? Who would want this to happen to anyone at all? Satan wants this to happen to everyone that has ever lived. He hates God and everything that is associated with God. No man has to come to this place that is prepared for the devil and his angels. God made the way. The work is done. The decision is yours to make.

Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

You are being called right now to repent and drink this water of life at no cost to you. The Spirit is calling you to come and I am calling you to come. I am part of the church, the bride of Christ. I know in my heart that someone is being called out right now as they read this. Jesus stands at the door knocking. It takes you to decide to open the door or not. Your salvation is now in your hands. God will not change the plan of salvation for anyone. Decide now to accept Jesus. It is the only logical choice to make.

Prayer

Father God I have done what you asked me to do. There is nothing more for me to say at this time. My prayer Father is that souls will be saved. for this is the reason that you sent the very best you had to die for our sins. Let hearts be touched and softened as this is read Father. Let us praise you continually with thanksgivings for all that you have done for us. Glory is yours and yours alone Lord. In Jesus mighty name, AMEN!!
