The Coming of the Lord
46Monday July 1, 2003 I was coming home from work. It had been raining and the sky was completely covered with clouds. Suddenly there was a light shining in my car. It appeared from nowhere it seems. Just as suddenly as it appeared it disappeared. It got me to thinking about when the Lord comes back it will be just as suddenly. He will appear suddenly and as suddenly as He appears he will disappear.
I thank God that my name is written down in the Lamb's Book of Life. Without my name being written down, I would be destined for hell. And after hell there is a lake of fire. I shudder to think that just a few years ago I was headed for that lake. I am so glad God saves old sinners. For I was once lost but now, Praise God, I have been found. There is nothing in this world that can take the place of Jesus in my heart. He is my all and all.
What more do I need? Who can stand against God? Who is higher than God? I say there is no one or nothing can stand against Him. For He is Almighty God. Praise God for salvation. Praise Him for His mighty acts. Let everything that has breath Praise ye the Lord.
Prayer
Lord Jesus let us live every day as if its our last day here on this earth. Let us not forget who you are. Lord let us decrease while you increase in our lives. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Big men think they are indestructable but they are not. I too was so lost but Jesus came to me, not me to Him. He was the only Person who ever really cared for me. As stinking as I am, me.
