The Law Fulfilled

66

By SirDent

Psa 143:2 And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.

Rom 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

We can see here that the law actually condemns men because we are all sinners. The law can justify no man. ( Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; ) We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. In a sense, none of us perfect as God is perfect. We mess up a lot and we do things sometimes we don't really want to do. We stumble along the way and are in need of help from God.

Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

The falling short of the law was taken care of when Jesus was sent to be a sacrifice for our sins. Jesus took on the form of sin and was condemned as sin. There is no other sacrifice worthy to redeem man from sins. Jesus is the only way to God. So how is the law fulfilled?

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Jesus said He come to fulfill the law not destroy it. How does Jesus fulfill the law? The law falls short in the fact that there is no mercy provided. The law states that if you sin you die. This is what the law says. Jesus came to give mercy to all that have "broken the law". There is not a man or woman alive that Jesus will not show mercy to if they will repent and ask for forgiveness with a sincere heart.

Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Rom 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Rom 3:26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

If we are faithful to confess our sins, God is just to forgive our sins. We are justified by faith in Jesus Christ. We are saved by grace through faith not works. Many do works and think they're going to make it to heaven. Why do so many fail to receive this great gift of God? Many are so full of pride that they would rather die and be tormented forever than to come to God and say, " I have sinned and need your forgiveness."

Some think God will refuse to forgive them. Others turn a deaf ear to God's Word, . Which category do you fall under? Some scoff at the Word of God and mock all who believe that Jesus is real and true. God Word tells us about them also, ( 2Pe 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 2Pe 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 2Pe 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: )

Now the question I ask is this. Why do you refuse to accept so great a salvation? The work has been done already except for the decision that you have to make. Would you allow satan to completely destroy you?

Rom 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

The end is coming whether you're ready or not. God has provided all that we need to find salvation through Christ Jesus. Make the decision right now to give your heart to Him and be saved. I promise if you ask Him to forgive you with a sincere heart He will forgive you for all your sins. He will set your feet on a solid rock. The burden you carry right now will be lifted. The angels of heaven will rejoice also. The Lord knocks on the door to your heart calling your name. He waits for you to open the door and allow Him to come in.

Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

I stand at your door knocking. I wait for you to open the door. I want to come in and eat with you and you can eat with me. This is what the scripture means. YOU must open the door.

Prayer

Father I thank you for the Word you have given me. It is my prayer that the lost come to you and ask for forgiveness and receive the mercy that Jesus brought with Him. Touch all who read this, Lord in Jesus precious and mighty name, AMEN.

Yeah, sometimes it makes my heart ache to know that some will not just say: yo God, I am sorry please forgive me.

I did something really bad once and I repented with every morsal of my being for forgiveness. I was pretty hurt that I shook my hand at God and did what I did out of spite. It still stings to know I did what I did, and God forgives me, He gave me/us Jesus, and I thank God all the time for that or thank God for his mercy always.

I will never understand why I did what I did, and the hardest person to forgive is myself because what I did was inexcusable and it hurts really bad every time I think about it.

I was a pretty good kid you know, until then I can say that I was pretty good about keeping the commandments, but I messed up. But because of the blessing that God sent, I understand that God is always and has always been merciful and loving and it really does fill me up to know that God and Jesus love us no matter what.

Best wishes and blessings to you.

Everyone has done things theu shouldn't have done. Jesus is the Lamb that was slain for our mistakes.

The law doesn't condemn anyone. We condemn ourselves through evil thoughts, deeds, hate, anger, The law simply reveals where we have a problem.

If we hate the law because it reveals who we are, it's time to change.

Yahshua's life is what saves, he showed us if we thought like him, lived like him, showed love like him we would become God's sons. His death was something that was prophesied. Satan not God requires sacrifice.

Salvation through his death is what Paul taught.

So you are telling me that the law does not say to kill those who do certain things such as commit adultery?

I don't think I am going to approve your other comments. I didn't fall off a turnip truck yesterday. Your agenda is showing, you should do something about that.

My agenda is truth. If I disagree I have an agenda?

God's Law is the ten commandments which Yahshua expounded.

The Old Jewish laws (Mind you in ancient times) may have said that. But that law does not fall in the ten commandments.

How many laws can you break before you break all of them?

Ancient times or not mean nothing. God is the same today as He was in the beginning. He never changes.

They were not God's laws. God's laws are the ten which Yahshua expounded.

If you break one of GOD'S laws, you've broken the whole law.

We can live sinless

So then you are saying that Moses did not speak for God to the people of Israel?

If you can live sinless why don't you do it?

1John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

God gave the ten commandments to Moses to give to the people

They are still God's laws, not Moses'

Any other law was man made.

Yahshua's Words:

John 5:14

Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

John 8:11

She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Moses is the prophet to whom God spoke face to face. he respresented Israel when he went before God.

Jesus camanded many things, but how many of us live up to all His commands? Are you perfect in every way?
