The Whole Truth

53

By SirDent

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

1+1=2. This is always true. The only way to make it come out different is to add to it or subtract something from it.

Jesus told us that He is the truth. He is the only truth because He said, "No man comes to the Father but by me." All religions have some of the truth in it. This does not make them right. Just as someone who does something right once doesn't make them right all the time. In all religions there is only one that man can be saved by grace alone (Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: ).

Joh 7:18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

Jesus did not seek His own glory. All that He did He did in obedience to God the Father. In other words, He did not rebel against God like we all have.

Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Jesus is the Word and is declared to be "full of grace and truth." Beside Jesus there is no other truth. All other religions have some of the truth as I stated earlier. But if something is added to or taken away from it has changed. 1+1=2 is always true no matter how you try to add it up. 1+1=3 is a lie. The other religions would have you believe that 1+1=3 or 4 or maybe even 5. Anyone who can add or subtract can tell that this is false. Now how can one become a child of God? God's Word has the answer for us.

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Now I ask a question of those that are still unsaved. What is worth going to hell over? Will riches satisfy you enough to cause you to be in constant torment forever and ever? Is your wife, your husband or your children worth it? Jesus died for all who will accept Him as their Saviour. What is holding you back from making the best decision of your life?

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Prayer

Father God, I thank you for your Word. I thank you, Father, for salvation that has come to men. Lord I pray that all who read this have conviction put upon them that they might receive you as their Saviour. It is my sincere prayer that souls be saved. Help us to receive all that you have given us. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

So how could have Yahoshua been his only beggotten son?
