What Sin Does
65Revelation 2:5. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
I have heard from different people that if you repent once you have no need of ever repenting again. They say that when you do that, you put Jesus back on the cross again. Sin separates us from God.
Even after we repent the first time if we sin, we separate from God. God will not reward sin. The ones that say you don't have to repent when u sin are very wrong and they mislead a lot of people. There are others that say once saved always saved. They say if you go back into sin you lose your reward but you still go to heaven. I ask what would be the point of doing anything for God if you go to heaven for doing nothing at all?
I mean, I know we are saved only by Jesus sacrifice. But aren't we supposed to witness for Jesus Christ? Aren't we supposed to sound the alarm? Tell them the truth? Sin is what nailed Jesus to the cross, not repentance. And all through the Old Testament you find where Israel had turned away from God and had gone into bondage. How did they get back out of bondage? They repented. Let us all repent daily whether we feel we need it or not.

I can't figure how you think this may be deceiving. Sin separated us from God. Like a ship that is anchored we are able to move. The anchor keeps us from going very far. If the anchor is removed then we are free to drift and move as we please.
If I misunderstand what you meant I apologize. I have been known to be kind of dense at times.
we sin every day and when we sin we ask God to for give us and if we don't ask him to for give us and just go we have sin and what every we do from then on we have done in vain

If you fully understand why you are repenting, you will only have to repent once.
Remember Hebrews 6:1
Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of christ, let us go on unto perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith towards God.
The reason that you have to repent (think differently) in the first place, is because what has been sowed in you is not who you are. Learn Who you are!
amen. amen. amen. When we wrong each other down here a good and healthy relationship asks for forgiveness and it is granted. If it is true repentence and forgiveness the relationship is restored . The relationship is true with our Savior. It is important to keep our heart clean so we have clear communication with God. I believe alot of the reason God does not answer our prayers is because of the unforgiven sin in our heart. It's important to have a healthy relationship with God!

70 times 7 if I sin I know I am forgiven. That is grace and not by my own acts but by my faith and with the Spirit of God within me He helps me not to sin and if I do sin I am covered by His blood. We all sin. No way for us not to but we must conduct ourselves accordingly and be the holy people Jesus intended. So that our lives might be full, so make sure you don't mislead people. Once you are saved you are saved!
